Joe Bastianich Will Exit ‘MasterChef’ USA, But Remain Overseas

Joe Bastianich Exit - One of the three judges from "MasterChef" and "MasterChef Junior" will be leaving the show.

It was confirmed by EW that Joe Bastianich will be leaving the show after the third season of "MasterChef Junior" is over, Time reported.

Apparently, the producers of the show are already looking for a replacement to fill in after the exit of the third judge. The ones who are returning, though, are Gordon Ramsay and Graham Elliot.

Fox made a joint statement on the matter alongside producers Shine America and One Potato Two Potato.

"Joe has played an integral role in the success of both 'MasterChef' and 'MasterChef Junior,' and we all appreciate his incredible culinary insight, sense of humor and passion."

"He will always remain a member of MasterChef family," EW shared.

And that last phrase could be taken in a literal way. As a matter of fact, Joe Bastianich will exit USA's "MasterChef" but remain a judge on "MasterChef Italia."

According to Variety, the judge already acquired an Italian production banner, called "Todos Contentos" and he also produces a travelogue food series, called "On The Road" for Italy's Sky Network.

So, seemingly, Joe Bastianich is getting more acquainted with Italy's culinary television and not leaving indefinitely all sorts of shows.

He's well-known for maintaining sharp-tongued and blunt assessments and appreciated for the same fact. A lot of judges from different shows are actually enjoyed to see for the same reason.

Not looking very far, Gordon Ramsay himself is in the same line. He's also quite blunt, honest, and has acute commentaries on other cooks. It's the reason, too, why a lot of people love watching him.

Given that, it might seem sad to see Joe Bastianich exit the show and leave with his sharp comments too. Still, something positive is the fact that he'll still be seen on "MasterChef," the only detail is that it'll be overseas.
