Following the summer revelation that the beautiful "Star Trek" actress was about to become a mom for the first time, news of Zoe Saldana's baby has come to light: and it's actually two new members of the family she's just welcomed!
The fact that Zoe Saldana's baby is actually two little children is not news; although the actress has been really careful about keeping her personal life as private as possible, good friend Britney Spears spilled the beans a few months ago by telling the world that Saldana was actually about to welcome two bundles of joy instead of one.
According to Hollywood Life, the first official confirmation that Zoe Saldana's baby was coming up happened in the midst of the celebrity ALS Ice Bucket Challenge that raged the world for a few weeks last summer; she released a video with husband Marco Perego replying to James Gunn's challenge.
In the video, the actress sweetly pointed to her belly and saying that she obviously couldn't do it herself due to the upcoming Zoe Saldana baby, so she nominated her husband instead, who hilariously started screaming after being soaked with the ice bucket and then jumped in their pool.
Now, according to Refinery29, it is still unclear whether the couple just welcomed two boys, two girls or fraternal twins of different genders, though many have assumed that the couple had two boys following the fact that, when last appearing on The Ellen Show, the actress only gushed about possible names for little guys in blue - but nothing's been stated officially yet!
In any case, the couple has been getting a lot of love from friends in the meantime, like designer Prabal Gurung, who congratulated Marco, Zoe Saldana and baby (babies, rather) on he happy day, according to E! Online.
"Congratulations to my dearest darling friend and my muse @zoesaldana (and her husband ) on the arrival of their twins," Gurung posted on his Instagram page, with photos of the actress wearing one of his designs.
