How To Make Handmade Chocolate

If you have a few right equipment and some instructions, then you can make chocolate at home. Here is the how to.

1. Prepare cacao nibs
It's hard to find cocoa bean, so get cacao nibs at nearby cooking stores or online.

2. Grind cacao nibs with sugar
Grind the nibs in a clean coffeee or pepper mill to the point where you can put them into the pestle and mortar again for the final grinding.
If you want to make 80% dark chocolate, then use 8(cacao nibs):2 (sugar) ratio. If you want 70% chocolate, use 7:2 ratio.
It will take about 3-5 minutes to get a mushy consistency.

3. Add the spices you like
You can add cumin, a drop of orange, ginger or peppermint oil, chili, basically any spice you like. Add spices very small amount.
Grind additional 2 minutes to combine well.

4. Pour into a mould
Pour into moulds and leave in a cool place to set.
