Katy Perry Super Bowl Halftime Show: Will Missy Elliott Join ‘Roar’ Singer? [PHOTOS+VIDEO]

The biggest event in football is just two days away, and those who watch the NFL final for more than seeing the Seattle Seahawks versus the New England Patriots are in for a treat, as reports flow about Katy Perry's Super Bowl halftime show, including the possibility of "Work It" rapper, Missy Elliott.

While Food World News reported a few days back that the singer was very anxious about the upcoming Katy Perry Super Bowl halftime show, the show must go on either way, and more and more reports are surfacing about what could possibly be happening as the "California Gurls" singer takes on the biggest performing gig in the world.

According to Yahoo! News, things are all set for Katy Perry's Super Bowl halftime show next Sunday, as the singer prepares for her huge gig - and there are at least five awesome surprises ahead!

Among them, the fact that, besides Lenny Kravitz, the singer will have another guest at her show: possibly Missy Elliott, as several news outlets have said. Apparently, other Katy Perry Super Bowl halftime show surprises will be that she might have some animals on her performance (think her "Roar" video) and that she's bringing in a whole new game for the gig - nothing like her 108 Prismatic World Tour performances!

As Hollywood Life reports, the ever-joking Perry has also said that, to know a bit more about what playing at the Super Bowl was like, she wrote an e-mail to her friend Bruno Mars, who was the halftime show last year. In the e-mail, she asks him about his "process" and other important questions like whether she should wear spray tan the night before or three nights before!

As she continues to be asked about the Katy Perry Super Bowl halftime show, the singer has said she'll be going for an "old-school" show, and stated that she'd like most of her performance to be live, but Bustle says that it's more complicated than that, as the NFL demands artists to pre-record their vocals at every performance just in case something goes wrong.
