As a tribute to Susi, International Business Times reports that "The Big Bang Theory" season 8 episode 15 will also see Mrs. Wolowitz passing away, "in her sleep," during a visit to her sister in Florida. This follows the death of the actress who did her voice, Carol Ann Susi, last November, after losing a battle to cancer.
Carter Matt reports that "The Big Bang Theory" season 8 episode 15 is called "The Comic Book Store Regeneration," as it shows Stuart's (Kevin Sussman) comic book store following a fire last season; after Stuart moved in with Howard's mom in a relationship that provoked a lot of hilarity, Mrs. Wolowitz decided to give him the money to reconstruct his store.
As far as the Nathan Fillion storyline goes, Entertainment Weekly reports that it happens as Leonard and Raj are having dinner and spot him in a restaurant, although they're not sure whether it's him and they should ask for an autograph - they just don't know whether Captain Mal would approve!
This would be the second "Firefly" guest star in "The Big Bang Theory," after Summer Glau, who played River in the show and its film sequel "Serenity," made a guest appearance in season two, as all the boys tried to hit on her.
