Tybee Island City Council's members are going to consider this week if they will grant the request from Grandpa Productions LLC for filming a scene on this latest comedy movie from De Niro. Based on the information submitted with the agenda of the council, the filming is expected to start this coming April.

Even though the movie was not named in the information submitted, filming has started in Atlanta this January for Dirty Grandpa that also listed Dermot Mulroney and Aubrey Plaza in the cast.

Tybee Island Development Authority and Main Street program's executive director, Chantel Morton, stated that the scenes that will be shot in the place are connected with this said project. The location manager of the film, in a letter addressed to the residents and businesses of the city, reported that the filmmakers are planning to use the beach in between 16th and 17th streets as well as several private property locations. In later part of April, a part of 16th Street may be temporarily closed for filming purposes.
