Zendaya Responds to the Apology of Giuliana Rancic

According to Daily Mail, Zendaya has responded to the apology of Giuliana Rancic over the racist comments of the E! presenter made regarding her hairstyle.

While the actress appreciated the apology of Rancic for saying that her dreadlocks should have smelled of patchouli oil and weed. She criticized the actress during her show on E!.

Zendaya stated that other hurtful tactics like body shaming will not get the job done. She also added that she's glad that it was a learning experience for the 40-year-old reporter Rancic as well as the E! Network.

On Monday on the episode of "Fashion Police" in E!, Rancic has commented on the appearance of Coleman during the Oscars and said that she smells like weed and patchouli oil. That time, the actress had sporting dreadlocks. After she commented, Coleman posted a statement on her own social media accounts and defend her hairstyle. Some stars such as Kerry Washington of "Scandal", Ava DuVernay, director of "Selma", and co-host Whoopi Goldberg of "The View" took the side of Coleman. While Rancic tweeted an apology quickly, she followed it with a much more and somber detailed expression of contrition.

Now, the actress is weighing in and said that she appreciates her apology and she is glad that it was Rancic's learning experience and the network. She also added that she hopes that others who are affected by Rancic's words may find to accept her apology.

Hollywood Reporter reported that Rancic said that it was really her learning experience and she learned a lot from it. The incident has also taught her to be more aware of stereotypes and clichés. She also said that she is responsible for everything.

Currently, Zendaya is busy for her career and Rancic try to apply what she have learned from the recent issue.
