Five Popular Hollywood Diets

1. Master Clense
This week-long liquid diet claims to detoxify the body. According to stars like Beyonce and Denzel Washington, six to twelve glasses per day of lemon juice, maple syrup, cayenne pepper and pure water also melts pounds. The website explains more.

2. Cookie Diet
Sadly this doesn't include Oreos and Nutter Butters. Instead, cookie dieters eat one or two of the Diet Doctor's specialties at specific times, according to the plan. Though it sounds too good to be true, past users like Mandy Moore and Kelly Clarkson have credited the products for their svelte figures.

3. Atkins
This low-carb, high-protein plan has been used by Rihanna and Kate Hudson, among others. The plan promises that users can drop up to 15 pounds in the first two-week stage. Bye bye pizza, hello petite waistline.

4. Macrobiotic Diet
This diet has been described as "appealing to helth-minded people who are practicing a holistic approach to physical and spiritual well-being." It makes sense, then, that Madonna follows this plan. The diet is all about balancing your diet, meaning that 50 to 60% of your diet should be whole grains, 25 to 30% vegetables, 5 to 10% miso and bean soups, and 5 to 10% beans and sea vegetables. Dieters avoid foods processed with artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives, as well as coffee, eggs, and refined sugars.

5. The Lunch Box Diet
Appealing to grazers, the lunch box diet lets you eat whatever you want for your breakfast and dinner meals. In between those meals, however, you eat from a lunch box filled with 60 percent veggies, 30 percent protein, and 10 percent dressing. Unless you're heading to the gym at some point during the day, carbs are limited. Cameron Diaz is one of Hollywood's A-listers who gave it a shot.
