Bruce Jenner Causes Stir In Social Media As More Comes To Attack Him, He Also Garners Unrivaled Support From Masses

Bruce Jenner in a dress has taken the social media by storm after designer Diane Von Furstenberg posted a tasteless and disrespectful altered snap of Jenner.

As soon as the photo was posted, Von Furstenberg received much hyped criticisms for her post. However, before the photo was taken down, netizens had already captured a copy of the edited Bruce Jenner in a dress.

In the modified Bruce Jenner in a dress image, the designer appeared to have photoshopped her own photo for the 1974 advert, where she wore an iconic wrap dress that she was known for according to CNN.

It emerged as Von Furstenberg supports Bruce Jenner, who had came out as a transgender however obviously the social media users did not like what she had done. The edited Bruce Jenner photo appeared on the official DVF Instagram account where Von Furstenberg wrote:

"Bruce Jenner... You are the woman you wanted to be ! I salute your strength, courage and honesty. By speaking out, you have spoken for so many who suffer.. ... Love Diane."

In the said Instagram post, Von Furstenberg even tagged two of Bruce Jenner daughters, Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner, "@kimkardashian" and "@kendeljenner."

The photoshopped picture was Von Furstenberg's original image where she was seen wearing the popular wrap dress for a 1974 advert with slogan, "Feel like a woman, wear a dress!"

Bruce Jenner in a dress made the social media users spit unkind words to the 68-year-old designer. After receiving hailstorms of censures, Von Furstenberg quickly removed her post and released a statement for the controversial Bruce Jenner in a dress photo.

Although the contentious Bruce Jenner in a dress altered photo doesn't appear now anywhere on the original DVF Instagram account, social media users have already screen-grabbed it and have posted it on their own social media pages.

Access Hollywood had the chance to ask Von Furstenberg behind her motive for the altered Bruce Jenner image and this is what she has to say:

"I admire Bruce Jenner strength, courage and honesty and have so much respect [for] him using his voice to speak for people who have none. I wish him nothing but a lifetime of happiness."

Just right after Bruce Jenner made his most anticipated tell-all transgender revelation with Dianne Sawyer several personalities have stirred frenzy in the social media by expressing their voices about Bruce Jenner's transition.

There was Star Trek actress Alice Eve, who was noted for her feminist statement after her post. Later she issued apology for mistakenly quoting phrases that meant double meaning about gender equality. She expressed her support to Bruce Jenner by saying "equality for all."

Kris Humphries, Kim Kardashian's ex-husband had also earlier caused stir in the social media after the basketball player tweeted, "Man, I'm glad I got out when I did" referring to Bruce Jenner 20/20 interview.

A day following his tweet, Humphries wrote, "I have and always will support Bruce hence #Gottadoyou," he tweeted. "Now recognize I was too vague and sincerely apologize for the way this came across.

After Bruce Jenner came out in public about his gender transition, the world has become more open about the subject of transgender issue. Some may attack Bruce Jenner, but his revelation surely exposes more that being open and admitting one's true skin is the way to being honest and living a life peacefully.
