Sofia Vergara Lawsuit: ‘Modern Family’ Star SLAMS Ex Nick Loeb Over Embryo Custody, Says ‘Make No Sense’

Over the past few weeks, the actress, one of the highest paid performers on television, has been in the middle of a Sofia Vergara lawsuit with her former fiancé Nick Loeb, as he's demanding custody of the embryos they created when they were a couple to become a single father.

The Colombian-born actress and one of the stars of the beloved show "Modern Family" has been in the middle of an embittered Sofia Vergara lawsuit for the past few weeks, and recently Loeb even wrote an op-ed for The New York Times to say that the female embryos they'd created when they were together had "a right to live."

According to Entertainment Weekly, the actress was recently interviewed about the Sofia Vergara lawsuit by Howard Stern, and she spoke in public about the situation for the first time since the whole issue came out to the public.

Ever since the Sofia Vergara lawsuit became public, it has become the subject of ethic discussion, as many wonder who has the "custody" rights over a set of unplanted embryos after a breakup, a very modern topic in the way of modern childbirth and rights.

"A kid needs parents. I wouldn't imagine anyone saying that it's sane to bring [into] the world kids that are already set up [with] everything wrong for them. It would be so selfish," the actress told Stern in a Monday interview, speaking about the Sofia Vergara lawsuit, according to Latino Fox News. "You signed papers, legal papers, and if it was so serious for him, this issue - which I totally respect it is serious for someone - then you should have taken it more serious at the time like I did."

She also went on to say that the lawsuit made "no sense" and that children should have parents that don't hate each other - clarifying that, while she doesn't have a problem with Loeb, it's obviously not the same the other way around.

As for how things are like at home with fiancé Joe Manganiello during this ordeal, People Magazine reports that they try to keep this out of discussion with her new love.

The actress doubts that any judge would side with Loeb in the Sofia Vergara lawsuit.
