Cleveland Cavaliers Emerge Victorious Against Atlanta Hawks in Game 3

The Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Atlanta Hawks during overtime, with a score of 114-111, earning their third consecutive win against the Atlanta Hawks yesterday. The game was held at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio.

The Cavaliers' 3-0 standing gives them a huge advantage to win the Eastern Conference Finals and move on to possibly be crowned this season's NBA champions.

Final scores for game 1 and 2 are 97-89 and 94-82, respectively.

It has been a tough battle for the leading team as one of their players, Kyrie Irving, sustained a knee injury that prevented him from playing since the second game. He was diagnosed with knee tendinitis Friday.

"Kyrie Irving does not have enough strength in his knee to risk playing him. Everyone needs to slow down on that. A player of Kyrie's talent is like Ferrari. You need to take good care of it, but it also needs to get out there and run every once in a while, " the Cavs' doctor said.

Star player Lebron James was also close to being substituted because he was feeling a lot of pain during overtime, but he decided to push through.

Lebron stated in an interview, "For me as a leader, no matter how I'm feeling, I gotta try and make some plays. It is a great feeling to be able to make some plays for your teammates."

His stats were double-digit points during the third game, scoring 37 points, 18 boards and 13 assists. The small forward even scored the final 5 points during overtime to secure the win and give the Cavs the series lead.

Viewers and NBA fans agree that the Cavs unquestionably played terrific games this season.

The team is now preparing for game 4 on May 27, Wednesday, hoping that the setbacks they have experienced during game 3 won't happen again.
