Leaked Information Points To Apple Launching 12.9-Inch iPad Pro

Apple is believed to be debuting the highly anticipated 12.9-inch iPad Pro before the year ends. Reports reveal that the new version of the iPad includes a Bluetooth stylus pen along with a pressure sensitive touchscreen display.

According to the reports, Apple will start providing materials for production late in September so the larger iPad can be released to the market n November. DigiTimes states that the tech company is being cautious in placing orders. The initial volume of unit that will shipped might be lower.

The upcoming iPad will have a screen similar to the size of the 13-inch MacBook and will be more useful to the users. The tech giant included new features to the upcoming device like split-screen multitasking. 

The new device may be called the iPad Pro as Apple has not yet revealed the official name of the product. Rumors are spreading that the screen display resolution is 2,732 x 2,048 with a 264ppi pixel density. The position of the keys will also be rearranged.

It will be powered by an A9 processor and will include a 2GB RAM. It will have USB 3.1 ports with Type-C connectors.

DigiTimes reveals that Foxconn Electronics will be the one to manufacture the large iPad.

Apple and other tablet developers have been having a hard time selling their products after the smartphones with 5-inch and above displays came into the market. Demand for tablets is decreasing at a fast rate as the absence of innovative and useful apps are also pushing consumers to resort to smartphones.

With the improvements and iOS features added to the iPad Pro, Apple may have a chance to win the hearts of users again and increase their iPad sales.

In the smartphone industry, the multinational company remains on the number one spot with its 92% profit from the total smartphone revenues.
