Ed Sheeran Helps Terminally-ill Fan To Tick Number One Item Off Her Bucket List

Ed Sheeran, who loves to spend time with his fans, granted one item off 22-year-old Channa Petrides' bucket list, according to reports.

The terminally-ill patient was thrilled and excited when the ginger-haired singer invited her to go backstage to have a meet and greet with him.

Though she and Sheeran did not talk  for very long, seeing her idol and being able to check one more thing off her bucket list is just more than enough.

Reports say that Petrides reportedly hit the news earlier this year when she pulled herself out from the organ transplant list, saying that what she wanted to do is to enjoy the remaining time she has.

By her great luck Channan, who is a huge fan of the 'Thinking Out Loud' singer, was finally able to meet Ed Sheeran on the backstage before hitting his Wembley Arena show for the month. While she was enjoying her small time with Sheeran, the happy fan admitted that her idol "smelled amazing".

She also added that Sheeran holds a great sense of humor and is someone who's really easy to get along with.

"He was so lovely and genuine, he had a great sense of humor, and was really easy to get on with.", she said. "He signed my programme and we took some selfies together. He smelt amazing."

Channan went on to say that a few months ago, she was not well and was really worried if she'd ever have the chance to make it to Sheeran's show.

"A few months ago, I was so unwell and I was worried if I'd ever make it to Ed Sheeran's gig, but I did and it was incredible and I also got to meet him backstage."

Besides being able to meet Sheeran, Channan has her bonus treat from her idol as Sheeran gladly posed for selfies with her, which she immediately sent to her Instagram page with a caption, "Can't wait for [Ed Sheeran's] show to begin".

She also shared on her Facebook account that her life is now complete, “So today I get to meet Ed Sheeran. My life is now complete.” The terminally-ill woman has openly admitted that she only has a certain amount of time to live.

“People struggle to believe how ill I am because I don’t look it. But the truth is that I do only have a certain amount of time left to live. My lungs rip so I cough up blood, and I’ve been on morphine since November for chronic chest pain,” she wrote.
