Batman fans are already looking forward to the upcoming animated adaptation of Alan Moore's 'Batman: The Killing Joke.' However, the latest update on the film is sure to drive excitement through the roof.
'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' star Mark Hamill has previously been rumored to provide the voice for the Joker in 'Batman: The Killing Joke.'
The actor has already voiced the Clown Prince of Crime in several animated features and video games. He has also expressed an interest to return as the Joker for the new film.
Collider has just confirmed that Mark Hamill will provide the Joker's voice. According to a source, the actor has already started recording for 'Batman: The Killing Joke.'

Now that the Joker has been found, who will play Batman? Fans immediately pointed to Kevin Conroy, who has voiced Batman in several animated films. Luckily, the actor is also interested in being a part of the project.
Comicbook.com recently spoke to Kevin Conroy on whether he would want to do 'Batman: The Killing Joke' with Mark Hamill.
"There's an online petition to have us do it!" Conroy confirmed. "Oh, God! Are you kidding me? I'd do it in a heartbeat!"

Kevin Conroy also admitted that he always enjoyed working with Mark Hamill. "I love working with him," he said. "I couldn't believe when they killed off The Joker. I would love to do it, and I hope that that happens."
'Batman: The Killing Joke' will be based on the 1988 graphic novel, which features a Joker origin story. In the comic book, the Joker was originally a stand-up comedian who went insane after falling into a vat of dangerous chemicals. 'The Killing Joke' has influenced several other comic books as well as Batman films and TV shows.
'Batman: The Killing Joke' will be released in 2016.
