It seems like earlier this month, during the latest Gisele Bundchen Paris visit, the recently retired catwalk supermodel was caught by paparazzi entering a famous plastic surgery clinic wearing traditional Muslin clothing (namely, a burka), raising eyebrows not only for where she was but also because many see the outfit as cultural appropriation.
According to The Daily Mail, the Gisele Bundchen Paris photos show the 35 year-old blonde completely covered in the burka, so only her feet can be seen -her younger sister Rafaela also joined along as the two of them stepped out of a black Mercedes outside a Parisian clinic last July 15, wearing the traditional Muslim attire in the holy month of Ramadan.
It wasn't only Rafaela riding along for Gisele Bundchen's Paris visit, but someone else was present: Bundchen's longtime chauffeur for more than 5 years, who was recognized by the paparazzi as he drove the two Brazilian sisters to the Clinique du Parc Monceau.
Page Six reports that it wasn't so much Gisele Bundchen's Paris surgery making news, but rather her choice of attire, as the burka was famously banned from the European country a while back, so if the Bundchen sisters were indeed the ones under the robes, they were violating French law.
According to Yahoo! Celebrity, though, there's a chance it wasn't really Gisele outside the Paris clinic (where she supposedly got surgery on her eyes and breasts), as she posted a snap of herself doing yoga with her 3 year-old daughter Vivian on Instagram at around the same time.

However, there's a chance the snap was taken previously and used as a distraction.
In any case, if it was indeed her under the burka, Gisele Bundchen's Paris visit may have cost her a lot of hate in the French capital.
