It looks like the Night Nurse could appear in the upcoming Marvel film 'Doctor Strange,' and she could be played by Rachel McAdams!
'Daredevil' showrunner Steven DeKnight recently spoke to /Film, where he explained Rosario Dawson's character had a different name although she is clearly playing Night Nurse.
"The feature side had plans for her down the road, so that was the only time we ran into a conflict," DeKnight stated. "So we just used another name."
Night Nurse happens to be the alter ego of Linda Carter, a nurse who helps injured superheroes. Rosario Dawson's character was initially going to be Linda Carter, but the name was changed to Claire Temple to make way for bigger Marvel projects.

Linda Carter is not only associated with Daredevil, as she has helped Spider-Man and Captain America. However, she worked closely with Stephen Strange in the miniseries 'Doctor Strange: The Oath.'
The revelation that Night Nurse will make an appearance in a Marvel film immediately led to speculations that she would be featured in 'Doctor Strange' with Benedict Cumberbatch and Tilda Swinton.

Rachel McAdams has previously been rumored to play either Clea or Morgana Blessing, but the actress could convincingly portray a character like Linda Carter. Night Nurse can also tie 'Doctor Strange,' 'Captain America: Civil War' and the standalone 'Spider-Man' film together.
Rachel McAdams has previously confirmed that she is in negotiations to appear in 'Doctor Strange.'
"It's still super-early days, and I don't know where that's gonna go, if it's gonna go anywhere at all," she said.
'Doctor Strange' stars Benedict Cumberbatch as Stephen Strange, a surgeon who goes through a horrific accident and ends up delving into magic. The film might explore the doctor's backstory as well as the several dimensions he encounters. The film is set for release on November 4, 2016.
