Remembering Robin Williams: The Supposed Mrs. Doubtfire 2

August last year, Robin Williams, 63 committed suicide by hanging himself with a belt. At that time, he was in production for five films. It included the 'Mrs. Doubtfire 2', with the lead role played by the comedian.

Daily Mail reveals that Williams was not happy having to make Mrs. Doubtfire 2 , but he was doing it for the money. In fact, most of the films he did before his death was for money alone.

He was in the TV sitcom, 'The Crazy Ones' with Sarah Michelle Gellar, but CBS cancelled it after one season.  He was earning $ 165,000 per episode, and the lost earnings put a heavy strain on his finances, that eventually caused his depression.

He confessed he couldn't afford anymore the upkeep of his ranch in Napa Valley, a 640-acre estate called Villa Sorriso, or Villa of Smiles.  He tried to sell it off in 2012 for $ 35 million, but there were no buyers. This year, it was listed for a lower price of $ 29.9 million, but it remains unsold in the market.

Williams couldn't afford his villa. He also couldn't afford his wives. He forked over a total of $ 30 million to his two ex-wives. He divorced his first wife, Valerie Velardi in 1988. Ten years after, he divorced second wife, Marsha Garces, a film producer with whom he has two children. He has been married to Susan Schneider since 2011 until his death.

In an interview once, Williams said, 'Divorce is expensive. I used to joke they were going to call it 'all the money,' but they changed it to 'alimony.' It's ripping your heart out through your wallet. '

Williams has 3 children. In 2009, he created a trust for his children to make sure they would be financially provided for. When he died in August 2014, his net worth was reported to be $ 50 million, although some estimate it at $ 130 million.
