'The X-Files' Revival Spoilers: Annabeth Gish To Reprise Role As FBI Agent Monica Reyes

X-Files is currently creating a buzz in the headlines as it is going back on screen anytime soon, as per Den of Geek the event series is making a revival and Agent Monica Reyes , who is portrayed by Annabeth Gish will be making a comeback too. Gish would keep her role as Agent Reyes who's been with X-Files up until it ended. She will make an appearance in one episode of the upcoming six episode series which is set to return on January 24, 2016.

However we would only be seeing David Duchovny as Fox Mulder , Dana Anderson as Scully, and Mitch Pileggi as Walter Skinner, Robert Patrick would no longer be joining the team for the sci-fi remake.

As per Mary Sue,Robert Patick made it clear that he would no longer be joining the rest of the cast, he then made a statement regarding the said issue by saying: "I'll set the record straight with you. I'm not going to do it. ... I'm very happy with the job I have. I'm on CBS [working on Scorpion] -that's a different network-and I'm content and happy and I don't really see a reason to go and revisit that show. It's not that I wouldn't be interested ... I just don't know what the reason is due to both at the same time."

Former cast members that would be joining the revival are, William B. Davis, Tom Braidwood, Dean Haglund, Bruce Harwood and Sheila Larken.

New characters would be making an appearance too, as Robbie Amell and Lauren Ambrose will be joining the team when they were casted as new agents. Amell will be taking the role of Agent Miller and Ambrose will portray the role of a smart and confident agent, Agent Einstein. Fans have been looking forward for the revival's premier, however, no additional details were announced yet.
