Nina Dobrev and Austin Stowell Slam Split Rumors After Being Spotted Showing PDA in New York

Nina Dobrev and Austin Stowell, who are recently being plagued with split rumors, proved the opposite after the two were spotted indulging in public displays of affection in New York.

According to reports, the split rumors started after "The Vampire Diaries" alum reportedly took a break from Stowell so she can spend more time with other friends and loved ones.

However, Dobrev and Stowell are seemingly teasing the public after they were seen kissing and hugging each other in New York on Thursday, following the split rumors.

Dobrev, who has been dating Stowell since June, appears to be more outgoing now after her exit from TVD.

During the recent TCA, the actress made her goodbye speech to the show, where she spent her 6 years as Elena Gilbert, and pointed out about the importance of change in her life.

"Change is necessary, necessary for you to grow and to learn and to better yourself," she said. "Because everything in your life comes to an end."

While this clearly has nothing to do with her former boyfriend and TVD co-star, Ian Somerhalder, some fans still believe that he was a big part of that 'change'.

"And, as this chapter in my life comes to an end, I look back at it with a grateful heart, and I smile," she added.

Following Nina Dobrev and Austin Stowell split rumors, another rumor about the ex-lovers Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder have sparked, claiming that the actress could possibly return to TVD and to Somerhalder's life.

However, a source ended the speculations and said that , "Ian found the love of his life. He has dealt with his emotions for Nina, they are friendly and nothing more."

Reports say that both sides knew about their respective relationships before it came out publicly and a source said that they both respect each other's new partners.

The source also went on to say that Somerhalder is just all about his wife Nikki and "he just wants Nina to be happy, and if she is happy with Austin that is good enough for him."
