Playboy founder Hugh Hefner married his 26-year-old girlfriend Crystal Harris in the presence of their families and friends on New Year's Eve, at the Playboy Mansion.
The marriage took place not long after the announcement of their second engagement. Crystal walked out of their first engagement in 2011 just a few days before the wedding.
"Today is the day I become Mrs. Hugh Hefner. Feeling very happy, lucky, and blessed," tweeted Crystal Harris, who has changed her name to Crystal Hefner on her Twitter account.
"After much deep reflection and thought I have decided to end my engagement with Hef. I have the utmost respect for Hef and wish him the best going forward," she wrote on her website.
The 26-year-old British model was the Playboy Playmate of the Month for December, 2009 and appeared on the cover of the magazine's July issue, 2011.
She dumped the adult entertainment mogul just five days before their proposed wedding in June 2011, which led to war of words on social working site and television.
However, they reunited earlier this year. "Yes, Hugh Hefner and I are back together," Crystal confirmed on her Twitter page. "Yes I am his #1 girl again. Yes we are happy. Hope that clears up any confusion! XO."
Hefner had earlier married twice. He married Mildred Williams in 1949 and has two children together but they split in 1959. His then married Playmate Kimberley Conrad in 1989 with whom he has two sons. They however got separated in 1998.
