Kraft Recall 2015: Oscar Mayer Turkey Bacon MAJOR Food Safety Risk, Over 2 MILLION Pounds Maybe Spoiled Before Date

In another major Kraft recall 2015 after there were thousands of cheese singles called in due to choking hazard, now it's the Oscar Mayer turkey bacon that's under pressure, as there have been millions of pounds of products recalled from the company over major food safety concerns.

This new Kraft recall 2015 comes after "spoilage-related consumer complaints," as it turns out there have been some of their turkey bacon products that were spoiled before their "best when used by" dates, something that exposes customers to a variety of foodborne diseases, although there have been no reported illnesses as of yet.

According to Pop Sugar, the Kraft recall 2015 currently extends to more than two million pounds of turkey bacon, all of which were produced between May 31, 2015 and August 5, 2015, as the products are currently posing important risks.

The United States Department of Agriculture released a statement about the Kraft recall 2015, and the problem was discovered when the company looked into a few spoilage-related complaints to find that there may be an adulteration of their turkey bacon products.

Fortune reports that the recalled issued by Kraft Heinz Foods is a Class II one, the middle level of three types defined as "a health hazard situation where there is a remote probability of adverse health consequences from the use of the product."

This is also a poor month for the company altogether, as earlier in August they announced they'd be cutting down 2,500 jobs.

Currently, the Kraft recall 2015 items are: "Selects Uncured Turkey Bacon" in 56 ounces, dates from 23 August through 26 October; "Smoked Cured Turkey Chopped and Formed" in 36 and 48 ounces, dates from 28 August through 20 October in the first package and from 3 September through 30 October.

There's still no word on the company's refund policy for the Kraft recall 2015, but consumers can reach the Kraft Heinz Consumer Relations Center at (800) 278-3403.
