New 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' Clip Shows Kylo Ren Taking On Finn [VIDEO]

Lucasfilm may be extremely secretive when it comes to details about the upcoming sequel 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens,' but the franchise still manages to offer just enough clues to get fans excited over its release.

In the previous teasers for 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens,' the villain Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) has been introduced as a mysterious figure wielding a crossguard lightsaber. The new teaser for the film now shows who Kylo Ren is preparing to fight in the dark snowy woods.

The official Star Wars Instagram account has just shared a very brief video clip from 'The Force Awakens.' The caption simply reads, "There has been an awakening... #StarWars #TheForceAwakens." Although it already features previously released footage, the teaser also includes Finn (John Boyega) wielding a familiar-looking blue lightsaber.

The revelation that Finn is in possession of Luke Skywalker's lightsaber was previously confirmed in the first official 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' movie poster that was unveiled during the D23 Expo. The poster shows Rey (Daisy Ridley) in the foreground as well as Kylo Ren and Han Solo (Harrison Ford).

In 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens,' Finn starts out as a Stormtrooper yet he ends up being on the other side of the First Order. John Boyega did not reveal too much about the character, but he did hint on Finn being in trouble.

"When we find Finn, he's in incredible danger," Boyega said during the Star Wars Celebration last April. "And the way he reacts to this danger changes his life, and launches him into the Star Wars universe in a very unique way."

'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' also marks the return of the twins Leia Organa (Carrie Fisher) and Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill). Han Solo's best wookie friend Chewbacca (Peter Mayhew) is also coming back together with C-3PO (Anthony Daniels) and R2-D2 (Kenny Baker).
