The Media Should Place More Emphasis on Talent: Nicholas Braun and Evan Peters

There are so many stars in Hollywood yet there are few we want to see more of. Many of them over saturate the media with negative news; it is difficult to come across talented young stars that we actually want to see more of!

Evan Peters, one of the stars on American Horror Story is young, talented and easy on the eyes. In season one of the series; he played Tate Langdon, a crazy teenage boy that murdered a bunch of popular kids at his high school. In season two, he portrayed Kit Walker, a crazed serial killer that was admitted to the Insane Asylum. Peters has been in the industry for quite some time; he was on One Tree Hill, Phil of The Future and had a role in Kick- Ass opposite Christopher Mintz-Plasse. Peters appears to be a low key guy that chooses to stay out of the lime light. Too bad, someone like him should put himself more out there. It would a breath of fresh air to see talent on the front page of Yahoo versus untalented celebrities that are famous simply because they make fools out of themselves on television.

Nicholas Braun is another young actor that would be a joy to see getting more media coverage. He can be seen in films such as The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Red State and Sky High. His trade mark is his height; on his Twitter account he describes himself as tall. Braun appears humble, down to earth and the type of guy girls want to date and guys want to be best friends with. Braun and his friend Kyle Kaplan, who is also an actor, achieved a viral hit when they recorded themselves singing Gotye's, Somebody I Used to Know while they were driving. The video currently has over 6,000,000 hits on Youtube. The two friends also created their own film making group called The Breakfast Toms, where they write, direct and produce their own content.

It would be great to see names like Nicholas Braun and Evan Peters in the media more often. They are both talented, good looking and are not obsessed with fame.
