Casting for the lead role of Christian Grey continues to spark rumors and create news headlines. According to sources, the film is supposed to shoot this summer and be released into theaters early 2014. Fans of the popular book series do not know who will play Christian Grey; there are plenty of rumors throughout Hollywood as to who will play the mysterious Grey. Two of the big actors sources keep mentioning are Ian Somerhalder and Matt Bomer.
In the book Fifty Shades of Grey, Christian Grey is a 27 year old self-made billionaire. He is attractive, slim and has issues with power. Christian Grey loves to be in control. The book begins with Anastasia Steele, a young college student who is forced to interview Grey for the school newspaper. She does this in order to help her roommate, Kate, because she fell ill on the day of the interview.
When Steele goes to interview Grey she is greeted by a beautiful young woman. Anastasia feels intimidated in this sort of atmosphere; she is so frightened she ends up tripping and falling. She does get the interview with Grey and after this, both characters become infatuated with one another.
Ian Somerhalder and Matt Bomer are both in their mid- 30's however they can easily pass for men in their 20's. Somerhalder is a fan favorite for the role of Christian Grey. He has intense eyes, dark hair and a slim physique. He also looks amazing in a suit which will be the attire he would be seen wearing as Grey. Some Ian Somerhalder fans went as far as creating montages of the star to showcase how badly they want him to play Christian Grey.
Matt Bomer is also attractive and looks great in a suit. Like Somerhalder, he has dark hair and lighter eyes. He also has high cheekbones and a chiseled physique. A fan also made a montage of Bomer; it showcases why they believe he would be the perfect Christian Grey.
Hopefully, Fifty Shades of Grey fans will know who will play Christian Grey soon. The media is keeping them on the edge of their seats. Both of these actors have similar looks and exude the same amount of sex appeal.
