Fake "Fifty Shades of Grey" Trailers with Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart Getting Lots of YouTube Views

Fans of Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson aren't letting anything get in their way of pushing the duo for the lead roles of Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey in the film adaptation of the bestseller "Fifty Shades of Grey," with reports emerging of several fan-made trailers making waves on YouTube.

Will these persuade the book's author, E.L. James to cast the duo in the the film adaption? At least K-Stew and R-Patz have had experience being a part of a wildly popular trilogy remade for the big screen, thanks to their work in the Twilight movies. And seeing how the books started out as a version of Twilight fan fiction, why not take the comparison all the way?

On Friday, Mstars reported that the trailers made by fans were appearing on YouTube and getting thousands of views. One, done by MsFilmEnthusiast, had more than 103,000 views. Another, posted by eldin82, had about 53,000 views and counting. Were people watching out of support or just to gawk? That's unclear, but there's no denying that the YouTube videos got the discussions going again.

So will a K-Stew and R-Patz "Fifty Shades of Grey" happen? Well, the truth is this probably not. James has said in the past she doesn't see Pattinson and Stewart as the two leads. Both Pattinson and Stewart have admitted to reading a bit of the book, but neither seems to be desperately in love with the material.

However, there is one thing that could make the roles seems perfect for the pair. The film would allow Pattinson and Stewart to spend a lot of time together and avoid long stretches of time without seeing each other -- a nice way to keep the relationship going  after the drama last year when Stewart was caught cheating on Pattinson with the director of her film "Snow White and the Huntsman."
