'Suicide Squad' Villain Finally Revealed, And It's Not Batman Or The Joker! [SPOILERS]

It's quite obvious that fans simply cannot wait for 'Suicide Squad' to finally hit theaters. After all, the film's trailer has been viewed more times than that of the superhero flick 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.' Perhaps one of the most enigmatic things about the DC movie is that it is already filled with so many villains that it is hard to point out who the real bad guy will be.

So who is the real villain in 'Suicide Squad?' Could it be The Joker (Jared Leto), who is seen torturing a helpless woman in the trailer? Is it Batman (Ben Affleck), who has already been seen hitching a ride on the Joker's car? Or perhaps it might be Amanda Waller (Viola Davis), who had assembled Task Force X in the first place?

[SPOILERS AHEAD]

According to Heroic Hollywood, new information about 'Suicide Squad' may finally shed light on who Task Force X will be up against, and she's pretty powerful.

"The latest rumor is the main villain of the movie is The Enchantress, and she is in search of her brother who she wants to resurrect," the site writes. "The Suicide Squad is sent on a mission to stop her from destroying the world."

The rumor could easily be backed up by all the footage seen in the 'Suicide Squad' trailer, where Enchantress (Cara Delevingne) can be seen exploring an underground cave and bathing in murky waters under a pentagram. The character is never seen in any of the scenes featuring Task Force X, except for a brief scene showing Cara Delevingne getting close with Joel Kinnaman, who plays Suicide Squad leader Rick Flag.

Is Cara Delevingne's spooky Enchantress the main villain in 'Suicide Squad?' Find out when the film finally crashes into theaters on August 5, 2016.
