No Entry: 'Chris Brown' Denied of Australian Visa Due to Domestic Violence Case

Chris Brown is in for a tough ride as Australia's immigration is unlikely to grant him his visa. Brown will be having a concert tour in Australia this December and as per BBC News, tickets are set to go on sale by Monday.

This fuss is caused by his case back in 2009, in when he pleaded guilty for domestic violence. He was proven guilty for assaulting his singer girlfriend, Rihanna. He was placed in 5 years in probation after pleading guilty to one count of felony assault.

Brown have already made two concert tours during the past few years, Australian government however think twice in allowing the singer to re-access their land. As per Peter Dutton, the Immigration Minister, the immigration department of Australia issued him a "notice of intention to consider refusal".

Brown has 28 days to present a cause on why his visa should be granted; after which it'll be the time for them to make a final decision in regards to Brown's visa.

Michaelia Cash, the Minster for Women encouraged the Immigration Minister, Peter Dutton to make a stand in regards to the domestic violence issue.

Cash then stated that people convicted with domestic violence are not welcome to some countries due to their character.

"People need to understand, if you are going to commit domestic violence and you want to travel around the world, there are going to be countries that say to you, 'You cannot come in because you are not of the character that we expect in Australia"

As per CNN, not only was Brown denied access in Australia, he was also denied access in United Kingdom in 2010. UK blocked his plans to perform in their country stating that he could pose a danger towards the citizens. His show in Canada was also cancelled as he was denied entry in crossing the border.
