Harry Potter Bar: HP-themed Bar Opens in Toronto Where Fans Can Drink Potions and Elixirs

Potter heads in Toronto are in for a treat as a Harry Potter themed bar that opened last week is already being recognized worldwide. As per RYOT, the bar located in the Dundas West neighborhood of Toronto [known as the little Portugal] is making the headlines. The Lockhart, which is owned by Matt Rocks and Pouria Fakhaei is drawing the fans attention as their bar aroused Harry Potter fans' interest. The bar is uniquely designed to cater the potter heads, aside from the hip interiors, they also named their drinks after potions and elixirs.

During his interview with The Guardian, the owner Matt Rocks described the bar and gave out information on where they draw inspiration in making the Harry Potter themed bar.

"There are definitely some things in here for Harry Potter fans like myself. We took ideas from the books and kind of added them to the decor, along with other things that we liked,"

Rocks' co-owner, Pouria Fakhraei shared their menu's details stating:  "a lot of inspiration from alchemy and potioneering", includes numerous references to JK Rowling's fantasy world. Customers can order a "Befuddlement Brew", a "Shacklebolt" or a "Ludo's Debt". Rocks then made it clear that he was not able to add Butterbeer on the menu due to copyright reasons.

Aside from serving the Harry Potter themed drinks, the bar is also popular for their "monthly Potter trivia nights" and their Halloween party, for this year, Rocks stated that "he's definitely dressing up as one of the characters"

Rocks then stated that they offer "a really good product".  The bar infused all of their liquors in house giving it a unique burst of flavor he then shared the crowd's favorites such as deep fried jalapeno mac and cheese sliders, baked brie and the all-time favorite gourmet popcorn.
