Kristen Stewart and Alicia Cargile are stricken by rumors that they were secretly married after one media outlet claimed that the 'Twilight' actress hinted about the nuptials while attending an event. Now, another rumor is circulating around the web that the pair has broken up and the alleged secret marriage never actually happened.
According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, Stewart and Cargile's alleged married never really happened. The pair doesn't have a marriage license, which means they are not legally married. The media outlet further reported that the pair hasn't been spotted together in weeks, suggesting that they already broke up.
The relationship rumors started after many images of them emerged, showing they are both holding hands, kissing and cuddling in public. Although Stewart never publicly confirmed her relationship with her confidant, OK! magazine reported that the pair wed secretly. They also claimed that one source overheard Kristen saying, "I miss my wife," while attending the after party of the 'American Ultra' premiere on August 18 in Los Angeles.
After the source heard the news, the eyewitness reportedly congratulated Kristen.
"When I congratulated Kristen on being married, she gave me a quirky smile and coyly said 'thanks!' and then ran off to celebrate with friends and costars, who were hugging and congratulating her all night," the source told the mag.
The source also explained to the media outlet why the pair decided to wed secretly.
"Alicia hates the attention more than Kristen," the source explained to OK! "They just get each other, and that's what makes it work."
Alicia was Kristen's assistant's before she allegedly started dating her in January this year. A friend close to the pair reportedly said that the actress even called Cargile "the one," Hollywood Life reported.
