Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden proved that they are still going strong after nine months of marriage with a night out in Los Angeles on October 3.
But as they were heading home, the 43-year-old actress slipped over as she navigated a wet sidewalk in heels while climbing into her Uber. Luckily Benji was there to save his lady from hurting herself, the 36-year-old rocker played the doting husband as he swooped in to pull Cameron back to her feet.
Cameron wore a loose-fitting white dress which hit at her knees and featured a purple, polka dot pattern.
The Annie star coupled the dressy look with a fitted, black jacket, and a stylish pair of strappy, nude heels.
Her long, blonde tresses, which were styled straight, looked a bit disheveled as she left the restaurant, and she showed off a bright pink lipstick.
Benji, who showed off a new head tattoo, wore a sleek black button down underneath a fitted black jacket.
He coupled the monochromatic look with a pair of black leather trousers and black, high-top Converse sneakers.
The rocker was spotted holding tightly to Cameron's hand as he led her to the car in the rain.
Los Angeles isn’t known for getting much rain, so it’s not surprising that California native Cameron wasn’t prepared for the slippery sidewalks she faced after her date night with Benji. As they left a restaurant called The Nice Guy in Hollywood to find that it had rained, Cameron slipped right off the curb while trying to get into the car.
In the video, camera men can be heard questioning Cameron about her rumored pregnancy. Although she didn’t answer, she also didn’t bother to shoot the rumors down.
Cameron and Benji married at their Beverly Hills home back in January, after a 17-day engagement.
They had started dating just seven months earlier after being introduced by Nicole Richie, who is Cameron’s close friend and Benji’s sister-in-law - she's married to his twin Joel.
