Blake Griffin Net Worth: LA Clippers PF Dunk Breaks Shot Clock [PHOTOS + VIDEOS]

Blake Griffin is definitely amped up on getting his feet back on court this season.

During the layup lines before the Los Angeles Clippers preseason match with the Toronto Raptors in Vancouver on Sunday night, Blake Griffin definitely proved he's all charged up for the upcoming season.

Here's what happened: Blake Griffin was doing a real badass dunk - cause he actually broke the shot clock. Take a look at the Vine clip below:

As per Yahoo Sports, Blake Griffin's "off-the-backboard two-hander literally sent the shot clock crashing down from the top of the basket, requiring the Rogers Arena game operations crew on hand to fix it up before the festivities could get underway."

Here's another look at the momentous occurrence, from the Rogers Arena stands:

Blake Griffin was actually surprised about what happened after his dunk. According to Rowan Kavner of Clippers.com:

"'That was crazy,' Griffin said. 'When we went up for warm-ups, I always do this thing where I jump on the rim. I came down and a screw hit me in the face, so we were looking up at the rim, and I guess Cole [Aldrich] dunked and another screw came out. We just kind of loosened it up.'"

Later after the game finally commenced, Blake Griffin did another power dunk during the third quarter - thankfully it didn't break the shot clock this time around.

Unfortunately, the "loosened" basket didn't come into the Los Angeles Clippers' favor. Blake Griffin only "scored 14 points on just 5-for-13 shooting on Sunday."

Blake Griffin net worth is $30 million. He reportedly earns $17.7 million per year. If this is any indication of Blake Griffin's performance for the upcoming season, then the Los Angeles Clippers will definitely have to give him a huge raise - or a bonus.
