Cinnamon Bun Oreos Spotted On Grocery Store Shelves

The new Cinnamon Bun Oreos were spotted on shelves and it will be available to all this month!

Impulsive Buy posted a photo which appeared to be Oreo's newest flavor. The Cinnamon Bun Oreo features a cinnamon bun-flavored crème sandwiched between two white cookies. While most new flavors are noticeably packaged as a deal, the new Cinnamon Bun variant does not feature "Limited Time" at all.

Foodbeast shared that the cookie is also sold in a 12.2 oz pack. It is slightly bigger than the packaging which Oreos sells its new flavors in.

While everyone thinks that the Cinnamon Bun Oreo aren't real and permanent, Today.com has exclusively confirmed few weeks ago that the breakfast pastry-inspired are not hallucination of our sugar-fueled mind's eye.

"We are excited to confirm that Cinnamon Bun OREO cookies are real," an Oreo spokesperson told the publication. Up till now, no official release date has been set just yet - we will keep you posted on when the cutting-edge flavor hits stores so you can start stocking up for your day-to-day supply.

This is not the first time that the world's most popular cookie sandwich released a new flavor. As a matter of fact, Oreo released its limited edition Pumpkin Spice Oreos. As Food World News previously reported, the experts at Oreo took their classic Golden Oreo cookie and integrated it with a pumpkin spice-flavored crème to create the flavor.

"It tasted like a vanilla Oreo but with a sprinkle of pumpkin and nutmeg," TODAY.com producer Danielle Brennan said of the cookie. "Not my favorite, but it's a good substitute when you're not in the mood for chocolate."

Oreo cookies are sold in more than 100 countries worldwide. In actual fact, the top five are the U.S., Canada, Indonesia, China and Venezuela in terms of sales.

In some countries, Nabisco's parent company Kraft reformulated the recipe to appeal to customers. Flavors around the world include Raspberry/Blueberry (China), Orange/Mango, Green Tea Ice Cream (Japan),  Dulce de Leche (Argentina) and Blueberry Ice Cream (Indonesia).
