Penelope Disick was all smiles while she was out and about with her mom Kourtney Kardashian on October 9. That was until she got smashed in the face by a car door. The sweet little girl was photographed crying her eyes out on the ground.
A peaceful day out between Kourtney and her 3-year-old daughter took a turn for the worse Friday when Penelope Disick slammed into an open car door.
The horrible moment happened while she was heading out for the day her mom and snaps show her grabbed the door just as it swung in her direction.
Her head was thrown back by the force and she hit the ground before bursting into tears as her nanny rushed to her aid.
Judging by the snaps, Kourtney is unaware that her daughter is being smacked in the face.
The 36-year-old reality star appeared to turn her head towards her daughter just as she fell to the ground, but she was too far in front to brace her fall.
Fortunately, it didn't look as though she had any serious injuries and after crying for a few minutes wobbled into a venue in Malibu wearing tasselled brown sandals.
Kourtney lifted her up while dressed casually in a black logo t-shirt and denim shorts.
Penelope seemed to have cheered up later on and was seen playing on a swing with her mom.
Kourtney Kardashian has not commented on the incident yet, although she was busy on social media Sunday tweeting about the newest episode of her show, "Keeping Up with the Kardashians."
This family is a bit of a mess lately. While Penelope is taking doors to the face, her father is getting drunk and texting her brother Mason.
