Jessica Chastain Refuses To Be a Bond Girl and Would Rather Play The Villain in 007

Most actresses in Hollywood won't say no if they were asked for the role James Bond's girl in a 007 movie, but Jessica Chastain is not most actresses. She doesn't want to be the known bond girl; rather she would take the nemesis role if she were given the chance to be a part of 007 film.

This idea was opened during an interview she did with W Magazine, where was also featured on the cover that would barely recognize her since the change in hair color and a loud makeup that depicts her wild side. The actress admitted that she is interested in being a part of the famous 007 franchise, but not as the leading lady to James Bond.

This wasn't just an idea that Chastain had earlier, but she already had this in mind a couple of years back when Comic Book Movie did an interview with her revealing she is already tired of the usual graceful characters and she wants to get her hands dirty this time around.

In an article published by The Inquisitr, Chastain's idea wasn't something new because Hollywood has done lots of movies with this kind of concept having a woman as a villain. This only shows that Chastain's dream of playing the nemesis in a 007 movie is not entirely far fetched.

Digital Spy caught the actress who is known for award-winning films like Interstellar and Crimson, with her firm and decisive words saying, "People ask me if I want to be a Bond girl, and I say, 'No, I want to be the villain'. I'm waiting for that call!" She doesn't want to be the understudy nor the leading lady known to be the Achilles' heel of Bond, she knows exactly what she wants and that's to play the bad girl in the film.
