Kobe Bryant Hits Back At Master P After Insensitive Lamar Odom Comment [PHOTOS]

While Lamar Odom is fighting for his life in a coma, Master P is playing the blame game. But Kobe Bryant isn’t about to let the legendary rapper paint him as a target.

The 37-year-old doesn't have the energy to deal with negativity and criticism at a time like this.

The Los Angeles Lakers star broke his silence concerning the tragic event revolving around his friend and former teammate Lamar Odom by writing a powerful message about the critics questioning the sincerity of his support for LO at this time.

After Master P claimed Kobe isn’t Lamar’s true friend, and even said the NBA star could’ve been the one to save Khloe Kardashian’s ex, Kobe shot back with his own words on Twitter.

“When WE feel the need to question the support of others in moments as critical as a life hanging in the balance, then we must question the kind of culture we have created that has led US to such insensitive suspicion,” Kobe’s message, which seems to be a quote he pulled from the internet, read on Twitter October 15. He followed it up with his own simple words: “#justpray.”

Kobe Bryant didn't call anyone out by name, but the timing of his post suggests that he may be referencing Master P. The rapper got fired up in a TMZ video that surfaced earlier, where he began slamming Bryant for displaying what he felt was an act of emotion over Lamar's hospitalization.

It was previously reported that Master P recently told photographers that even though Kobe visited Lamar in the hospital, he thinks the NBA player had ulterior motives. Plus, he thinks Kobe could have saved Lamar by getting him back on the Lakers after he was traded.

"If Kobe was his friend ... Kobe, like, owns the team. He could've got the man back on the team ... that's all he wanted," Master P said.

Being traded from the Lakers was one of the greatest heartbreaks in Lamar’s life. Unfortunately, things just keep getting worse for Lamar. His major organs are failing and doctors have given a 50/50 shot at recovery after being found unconscious at a Nevada brothel on October 13.
