Every chapter is getting more intense and the sleeping Elena Gilbert will surely be shaking her head when she wakes up.

Following the first two episodes of the popular television series "The Vampire Diaries", the events are getting a lot more complicated , especially when it comes to the ongoing conflict between Damon's team and the Heretics family.

According to reports, the Vampire Diaries season 7 new promo episode shows Ian Somerhalder's Damon Salvatore torturing another member of the Heretics family, Oscar, which enrages Lily, who in fact already reminded the quiet, yet hard-headed Salvatore not to cause trouble with her family.

"You will not lay a hand on another member of my family," Lily said.

Lily, who happens to be the biological mother of the Salvatore brothers, Stefan and Damon, was shown in the last TVD season 7 teaser clip, talking and threatening Damon using Elena.

In the previous episode, Lily was revealed hiding Elena's body. Damon, who cares for his lady more than anyone, said he won't stop at nothing to kill every Heretic member just to get Elena back.

The lunatic mother, Lily, who cares for her family the same way Damon cares for Elena, said it would mean war if Damon won't get his hands off from her family.

Caroline on the other hand, is doing the exact opposite, asking Stefan to prevent all of these things from happening.

Speaking of Caroline, the blonde character was previewed in the last episode with a ring on her hand, which revealed she's already engaged.

However, following the shocking series of events, the mysterious fiancé remains unknown and everybody keeps guessing who is Caroline's significant other, with some throwing their presumptions to Stefan Salvatore, who happens to be Caroline's rumored new love interest in the season.

'The Vampire Diaries' season 7 episode 3, "Age of Innocence" airs October 22, Thursday at The CW.
