Michael J. Fox Net Worth: Marty McFly Gets First Ever Self-Tying Nike Mag, Confirms Release Slated for 2016 [VIDEOS]

Ever since "Back To The Future II" came out, everybody's been wanting their own self-tying shoes. It might have taken 30 years, but the self-tying Nike MAG has finally arrived!

Michael J. Fox - who plays Marty McFly in the film -- was the first person to actually receive a pair of the real life Nike Mag, and has even showed it off on social media and provided updates on the official release of the sneaks -which will be in 2016!

On Wednesday, Michael J. Fox posted a video on the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research YouTube channel - where he tries out the Nike MAGs for the first time. Apparently, the sneakers slowly tighten its lace with the press of a button.

The same day, Michael J. Fox posted a tweet, which provided a photo of a handwritten letter from Tinker Hatfield, which reads:

"Hey Michael,

"Almost thirty years ago we embarked on a journey to create a glimpse into 'the future.'

"Although the project started as science fiction, we're now proud to turn that fiction into fact.

"As the first, most celebrated wearer of the Nike Air MAG we wanted you to be the first to receive a living pair. 'I meant Nike MAG' (I must have 'Air' on the brain)!

"What is so special about the Nike Air MAG is its impact continues to resonate. We may never know its final legacy, but we continue to work on projects that carry and progress some of its principles.

"As you well know innovation never stops at Nike so we're excited about what lies ahead for this idea. We know if you put your mind to it, you can accomplish anything.

"In addition to your personal pair, we're creating more pairs for support in aid of the Michael J. Fox Foundation in 2016.

"We hope that the combined effort will raise even more than the $9.4 million collected in 2011 and contribute in some way to eliminating Parkinson's disease in our lifetime!"

Last evening, Marty McFly and Doc Brown (Christoper Lloyd) actually travelled to the future - into the Jimmy Kimmel Live! set as the host was starting the show off. Of course it's all scripted, but it was adorable and hilarious.

What's actually important about Michael J. Fox's visit to the show is when he officially unveiled the self-lacing 2015 Nike MAG sneaker, even showing the sneaks in action to Jimmy Kimmel!

Start stashing away some cash folks, we're expecting these new kicks to be quite expensive.

Michael J. Fox net worth is $65 million.
