Robert Downey Jr: Dresses Up As Tigger To Cheer Up Boy With Cystic Fibrosis

Actor, Robert Downey Jr. has used his "sociable persona" to brighten the lives of numerous children in recent months.

According to the post on the actor's Instagram account, the mother of a young boy Daniel, suffering from cystic fibrosis recently reached out to Downey Jr. via social media.

In reply, he wore a Tigger costume explaining that  "When I’m in the dumps, I’ve found this little get up to be helpful."

Downey put on a Tigger (the animated tiger from children's classic Winnie the Pooh) onesie and stuck his most cruel pose to cheer up the 7-year-old boy over the weekend.

Robert Downey Jr. is a real life superhero. After a career revival with Iron Man back in 2008, the actor and box office King Midas has taken it upon himself to frequently pay it forward.

His latest invasion into the world of generosity should warm even the coldest of hearts.

Aside from this most recent venture with Daniel, the actor also delivered a bionic arm replacement for a boy born with only a partly developed right arm.

He maintained his Tony Stark character throughout the proceedings, effectively drown the young boy in the superhero world that he has grown up loving.

The actor also extended an offer for Daniel to join him at the premiere of Captain America: Civil War when it comes out in May 2016.

"I want to say a huge thank you to everyone that helped to make this possible and a massive thank you to @robertdowneyjr for Daniels invite to join you in LA, we physically can not believe it and can't ever imagine a way to thank everyone enough," the message read. "I will keep everyone updated on the build up to the big day on Daniels progress and his day to day going ons and of course his tuxedo fitting that he has asked for today as he wants to fit in like a real star."  This is the statement Daniel's mom posted.
