More proof that doing a reality show can be the kiss of death for Hollywood relationships: Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg are struggling to keep their marriage together after only about a year according to a shocking new report.
Reports surfaced last week that the couple's romance was on the skids because Wahlberg was getting annoyed with his wife's recent string of behaviors, including getting tattoos on a whim and dying her hair a bright fuschia shade over the summer.
The reports also claimed there were troubles with how they were planning to raise their three sons together from their prior marriages, with McCarthy not allowing him to be a strong father figure for the boys.
The stars of the reality television show “Donnie Loves Jenny” are close to ending their 14-month marriage in divorce according to a new report. McCarthy may say she wants to change from being a free-spirited wild child but what’s going on at home tells a different story.
Jenny and Donnie seemed like a match made in heaven but Ok! is now reporting that just isn’t the case anymore.
“Jenny and Donnie fight constantly,” one of Donnie’s friends says, “it’s nonstop drama.” But what’s causing all of the strain? The source says part of the problem is something that Donnie once loved: Jenny’s goofy sense of humor.
“He’s had it with her refusal to act like a mature, responsible adult,” says the source. “He always tells her to grow up.” But that isn’t Donnie’s only issue with Jenny. Her 13-year-old son Evan has also been a major source of conflict in the relationship. Naturally, Jenny is very protective of him after he was diagnosed with autism as a toddler, something which she has spoken out about frequently.
A day after the reports surfaced, Wahlberg took to his Twitter to seemingly address the reports with a post that cautions others to think about what they actually project to the world with what they put out on social media.
He then took to Twitter again to congratulate his wife for hitting her one year anniversary with her radio show, Dirty Sexy Funny.
McCarthy also took to her Twitter page to share a video of her husband during their weekend trip to Arizona, where he seemed to be in good spirits while sitting with his wife.
