‘Jennifer Aniston’ News: ‘Cake’ Actress in Talks To Star In ‘What Alice Forgot’ For TriStar

Jennifer Aniston is about to get forgetful as she is set to play the title character in "What Alice Forgot."

The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed on Thursday that the actress is in talks in the TriStar film. The story of the forthcoming is based on Liane Moriarty's best-selling book of the same title.

Jennifer is set to play the character of Alice, a 40-year-old who suffers head trauma and awakens believing that she is still 25 and that her life is far better than it actually is.

The publication said that no director is attached as of the moment. It was Shauna Cross from the hit movie "If I Stay" who wrote the script's most recent draft, with the studio looking to bring on a new writer for a rewrite.

Moreover, THR shared that Kerry Kohansky-Roberts at "Anonymous Content" is producing, alongside Steve Golin. TriStar's Nicole Brown is overseeing, and Vincent Sheehan is executive producing.

Meanwhile, Deadline informed that it had David Frankel attached to direct the upcoming film when Sony-based TriStar acquired Mortiarty's book in July 2014. "That job now is open."

Meanwhile, the 46-year-old actress recently spoke with Yahoo Beauty Editor in Chief Bobbi Brown for an interview published on Tuesday, Oct. 27. During the talk, she revealed that she has not even seen photographs from her top-secret wedding to Justin Theroux.

"Yeah, it was amazing," Jennifer said of the low-key but still star-studded affair. "We were determined to keep it just private and to ourselves. And the thing is, we haven't even seen pictures. But, you know, it was just everything we wanted it to be, and [we are] very happy that we didn't have to see our faces on the cover of a magazine."

The "Cake" star divulged she takes a similarly modest approach to her day-to-day style. She said she knows what she likes and she sticks with it.

"What works for me as far as my style is usually that I don't change it very often," Jennifer told Bobbi. "I just try to stay really comfortable. I don't try and follow trends because it just always feel inauthentic somehow. You know, like a skinny jean and me don't really get along."
