‘Project Runway’ Recap: 'Edmond' Gets the 'Tim Gunn' Save for 'Fashion Week'

Tim Gunn came through and made another shocking move after last week's beyond surprising elimination episode of "The Project Runway."

HollywoodLife.com shared on Thursday that Tim saved Edmond from being eliminated. In other words, he is totally going to Fashion Week and there are four designers competing for the big win!

Fans were disappointed when Edmond went home at the end of last week's show. To recall, Edmond has been one of the most consistent, strongest and beyond talented designers all season. Too, he has been the most patient and dedicated aspirant as he has auditioned for the show ever since the first season.

"Look how far you've come, season after season of auditions," Tim said when he walks in after the elimination news, adding that he feels numb. Luckily, Edmond got the Tim Gunn save for the Fashion Week.

The designers have $9,000 to create a collection. So, they head to their hometowns to start working and Tim packed his scrupulous little suitcase full of suits for the home visits.

Heidi Klum stated she hoped Ashley creates a plus-size collection, which if pushed through will be a "Project Runway" first. Mexico City in the 1950s is her inspiration, so she will be hand-dying fabrics and creating floral headpieces.

Tim visited Candice who opened up about her relationship with her mother. He told her to step back and edit since the attention to detail is exquisite with sequins and laser cut leather.

After Candice, Tim traveled to Massachusetts to visit Kelly. She is the only designer who is completely done with her collection filled with vibrant sequins, fanny packs and mesh.

Tim then jetted off to Atlanta to visit Edmond in his design studio, who took the judge to meet his family who were his inspiration in creating the collection. His goal is to dress and rock up someone for the Met Ball, so he wants to send a major finale gown down the runway.
