‘Warcraft' Movie: Stills, Poster Released; Official Trailer out Friday; When is Movie's Release Date?

The "Warcraft" movie's stills and a new poster has been released. In addition, the official trailer will reportedly be out Friday, November 6. Fans are definitely more excited now that there is something to be seen of the film.

Blizzard Entertainment recently made the announcement of the "Warcraft" movie's first official trailer coming Friday.

In celebration for the new trailer's coming, Legendary released a new poster showcasing the two lead characters in the "Warcraft" film, according to VG 24/7.

Blizzard also released the new poster showing the Horde vs. Alliance theme. Characters Durotan (Toby Kebbel) and Lothar (Travis Fimmel) are depicted, separated by a blade. In the poster, the tagline "Two Worlds. One Home," appears.

The trailer reportedly coincides with Blizzard's annual BlizzCon event's first day. The event, BlizzCon 2015 will run from November 6 to 7 at Anaheim, California's Anaheim Convention Center.

Tickets are now sold out, but virtual tickets are still available for $40 a piece. This includes access to the BlizzCon 2015's various panels as well as the closing concert from Linkin Park.

Empire magazine has also showed off three new official stills from the "Warcraft" movie in their latest issue.

The much-anticipated "Warcraft" film is directed by "Moon" and "Source Code's" Duncan Jones, who is son to singer David Bowie. The film will feature actors Dominic Cooper, Paula Patton, Ben Foster and Clancy Brown.

In August, a grainy footage from "Warcraft" was leaked, which convinced fans to ask Jones for an earlier release of the film. However, as much as Jones wants to, there can be no doing that.

The film was reportedly getting delayed constantly. Fortunately, it has been confirmed that the film opens in theaters on June 10, 2016.

"Warcraft" is only one of the dozen video-games based movies currently in development. Game Spot has a list here for a roundup of the other films.
