5 Seconds of Summer's drummer, Ashton Irwin has confirmed he’s no longer with his girlfriend of one year, model Bryana Holly. Without mentioning her by name, the 21-year-old shared that he’s on the market again, after revealing he and the Playboy playmate were no longer an item.
Ashton told Howard Stern that in the end it was too difficult to maintain a romance when he’s touring the world and never in one country for more than a few weeks. He admitted that attempting to engage in a serious relationship was pointless while his career stays at the age it is now.
“I tried to have a relationship and it just didn’t work out,' he said. "I’ve been away for six months and it just doesn’t… I was kind of seeing someone for about a year, but I worked it out and I’d been with them for approximately two months out of that year.”
Despite being photographed with Bryana on many, many occasions Irwin has never directly confirmed her identity but when asked if his recent ex worked as a model, he added: “Uh… she does do stuff like that, yeah.”
There were hints that the two were no longer an item when they unfollowed each other on their respective social media pages in October - the ultimate sign of a modern-day breakup! Bryana also hadn’t been seen with the band lately, where she had been a regular presence in the past.
A number of fans have speculated that the Australian musician cheated on Holly while they were still technically together, but there has been no proof offered.
Bryana came into the spotlight back in 2013 when she dated Brody Jenner.
Since then the model has grown her career and now boasts over one million followers on Instagram which she regularly updates with selfies and modelling campaigns.
