Brad and Angelina Rose Wine Praised as 'Mouthwatering'

"A mouthwatering finish" is how one united Kingdom magazine chose to describe Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's latest vintage wine.

The Associated Press reported that the celebrity couple's second vintage of rose wine has received raving reviews for it taste from Decanter magazine, which describes the Cotes de Provence rose as "charmingly pretty in color" with "a delicate structure that deepens through the palate."

The wine was produced at their French Provencal estate, Chateau Miraval. The AP reported that the 2013 Miraval goes on sale online on Friday. It will be available in stores starting March. The AP also noted that about 200,000 bottles of their 2013 wine are expected to be sold for around $20 per bottle.

Pitt and Jolie's 2012 Chateau Miraval Rosé was ranked number 84 among Wine Spectator's Top 100 Wines of the Year, according to Us Weekly. A press release stated that it was the "best Rosé in the world," selling out all 6,000 bottles five hours after being first released in March.

"Refined and elegant, offering pure and concentrated flavors of dried red berry, tangerine and melon. The focused finish features flint and spice notes, with a hint of cream," Wine Spectator Managing Editor Kim Marcus said as he described the rosé.

The couple partnered with the Perrin family, a fifth-generation wine-making family in France, to develop their own rosé wine "under the Jolie-Pitt & Perrin brand"

"[Brad and Angelina] are involved. He is very interested in wine -- he knows his wine very well... it is fantastic," Perrin general manager Marc Perrin, who has worked closely with Pitt and Jolie to develop the wine, told Unfiltered Magazine in February.
