Sochi Olympics: Olympian Lolo Jones Unhappy With Olympic Cafeteria Food

Olympians are unhappy with the food being served in the cafeteria and are no longer keeping quiet.

Lolo Jones, U.S. track star turned Olympic bobsledder, uploaded a video bashing the cuisine from the cafeteria at the 2014 Winter Games in Sochi, USA Today reported.

In the video, Jones and teammate Jazmine Fenlator can be seen "eating some sort of stew concoction."

"Just pretend it's a nice juicy steak," Jones, who finished 10th and eighth in two practice runs Sunday, said while eating.

Jones can be heard asking Fenlator if she was going to eat her cornbread. While Fenlator is reportedly satisfied with the variety of foods being offered, Jones is not as complimentary.

"She's being PG," Jones told USA Today. "She's being real PG. People always ask why there's a McDonald's in the Olympic village, and I think it's clear why. There's not one in the mountain village. You just make do."

The United States Olympic Committee have provided Olympians with nutritionists, however athletes make their own decisions on what they choose to eat.

American Olympians have faced several food-related challenges while competing in Russia.

Russia banned Chobani Greek yogurt from shipping its products overseas to Sochi. Chobani, who are one of the sponsors for the 2014 U.S. Olympic and Paralympic teams, reportedly completed all necessary paperwork, reassuring the yogurt's safety. However, Russia continues to deny Chobani access.

Instead, Chobani will be donated to several local food banks in New York and New Jersey area, the Associated Press reported.
