Larry David Wins $5000 for Calling Donald Trump a Racist on 'SNL'

It looks like somebody just hit the jackpot. Comedian-actor Larry David has reportedly won $5,000 after calling the presidential frontrunner Donald Trump "a racist" during last weekend's segment of Saturday Night Live, according to reports.

Though David doesn't really need cash, he's definitely getting his cash prize from the Deport Racism after shading Donald Trump, adding that the immigrant rights group agreed to what David said of Trump.

"Trump's a racist!" the 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' creator shouted as Trump ended his monologue. When being asked by Trump why he shouted, he quickly answered "I heard if I did that, they'd give me $5,000."

Reports say that the said scenario was only part of the scripted segment of NBC'S sketch series, however, the Deport Racism group wasn't joking on the reward offered to anybody from the audiences who would dare to shout "Trump's a racist" during a live broadcast.

The group announced Sunday morning that David won the prize as promised, writing #LarryDavid wins $5K 'bounty' from https://DeportRacism.com for calling Trump RACIST on #SNL. Joke or not, it's true."

Last week, the group released a statement explaining as to why they were offering the such deal. "NBC's refusal to drop Trump has put us in the position of dropping $5,000 of cold hard cash to anyone who will yell out 'Trump is a racist' during the live broadcast of 'Saturday Night Live'", said by Santiago Cejudo, organizer of the Deport Racism Pac.

Reports say that Trump's show "SNL" received a backlash and has enraged several immigrant groups after the presidential candidate reportedly called the Mexican immigrants "rapists" and "criminals".

In addition, the activists group reportedly marched from Trump Tower in the Rockefeller Center in an attempt to appeal for Trump's appearance. However, the march calling out to boycott Trump didn't affect the ratings, adding that SNL scored higher than its usual ratings from the last four years.

SNL's averaged rating was at 6.6 percent with 16 shares in metered-market households. According to NBC, the new ratings happened to be the show's best overnight score since 2012.
