Oprah Winfrey Defends The Kardashians After Rebel Wilson Slammed Reality Stars For Being 'Talentless'

When it comes to the Kardashian-Jenner clan, Rebel Wilson and Oprah Winfrey will just have to agree to disagree.

The queen of talk has no problem with the Kardashian family's celebrity status. In fact, she admires their work ethic. The TV personality defended the reality TV family during KIIS FM's Kyle and Jackie O Show in Australia on Monday, November 9.

Oprah wants the world to know that the Kardashian and Jenners — including sisters Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe — have worked “hard” to get where they are today.

"I interviewed the Kardashians two years ago and I can’t believe how hard they work. People don’t understand that, people think, Oh, if a television camera’s just following you, then that’s just easy," the 61-year-old said during the radio show.

And it doesn’t end there. Oprah thinks the Kardashians have something really special that keeps them in the center of attention at all times.

"To really create a reality series that looks like something’s actually happening, it means you have to be on all the time."

She added: “I went to film them as a family and I couldn’t believe how hard they worked. We were there for seven hours and they were gonna tape another seven hours after I left. No matter who you are, that is work.”

Oprah arrives Down Under with her show' An Evening With Oprah' next month. She was speaking out days after actress and comedienne Rebel slammed the Kardashian family's rise to fame .

Rebel Wilson blasted the Kardashian-Jenner family during an appearance on the same show where Oprah defended the famous family. The Pitch Perfect star called the reality stars "superficial," and specifically called out Kim Kardashian for getting "famous from the sex tape" as opposed to working hard.

The 35-year-old turned down the offer to present alongside Kendall and Kylie Jenner at the MTV VMA's back in August.
