These Comments On Obama's First Facebook Post Have The Most Number of Replies

U.S. President Obama had his first post on his own Facebook page and these are just a few of its most trending comments and replies.

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg said, "Welcome, President Obama! I'm excited that you've joined our community, and I look forward to seeing how you engage with people here on Facebook." His comment now has over 42,000 likes and 1600 replies.

Maureen O'Rourke of North Carolina said, "This is the president who sent a personal letter of encouragement to my son after I wrote to him with my worries. THANK YOU. You inspired him to pursue graduate studies in environmental policy. You make me proud to be an American." As of this writing, her comment had 648 replies and 16,843 likes.

President Obama shared on Facebook his first ever post on Nov. 10, 2015.

Hello, Facebook! I finally got my very own page. I hope you’ll think of this as a place where we can have real conversations about the most important issues facing our country – a place where you can hear directly from me, and share your own thoughts and stories. (You can expect some just-for-fun stuff, too.)

And in just a few hours, it already garnered lots of likes, comments and replies as more and more people around the globe would want to interact or at least get in touch with one of the most influential world leaders today.

In his post, Obama also kicked it off by inviting everyone to take a walk with him in his backyard while consequently encouraged the "world" to take a stand on climate change. He is confident that if all are in this together, each can solve this issue and do right.

More so, the U.S. president also gave birth to his second post, which states:

"One of the most humbling parts of my job is serving as Commander-in-Chief. And on days like today, as we pay special tribute to the incredible men and women who have served our country, I'm reminded not just of their strength and resolve, or that they protect us and our values. These heroes teach us about the best of America. They show us the best within ourselves."

Paying tribute to the heroism of Ret. Capt. Florent Groberg, he also shared a video and asked everyone to honor a veteran by tagging them in the comments and sharing their story.

Well, as expected, comments and reactions are outpouring.
