Just like what any other famous people try to do nowadays, Ariel Winter speaks up for every girl in the world.
The 17 year-old "Modern Family" actress, posted a photo of her in a bikini with her two nieces on instagram and it instantly became an opportunity for people on instagram to leave horrible comments about it. People all over instagram who are sadly mean to her were saying that she couldn't stop them from leaving nasty comments on her photo because she knew what she was doing and she knew that there will be people who would react negatively towards it and that it's her fault that she posted a photo of herself wearing something so provocative.
The teen flawlessly shut the commenters down by replying that no girl is ever "asking for it" even if she wears something that may seem provocative to the eyes of others. She said that she's not only standing up for herself, but she's also standing up for those girls who aren't free to wear anything they want because there will always be people who will prove that rape culture exists. She ended her reply by saying "I pray you find kindness within you somewhere. Nothing but love, Ariel"
She later on posted a photo and captioned it with the thoughts that she had when people left nasty comments on her previous photo, she said that it sickens her that there are people who can simply say that "she's asking for it" just because she posted a photo of her in bikini. She also said that no girl is "asking for it" just because she's freely expressing herself through the way she dresses. No girl deserves that kind of negativity from people who doesn't analyze the words that they're spitting out.
