Foo Fighters and U2 Cancel Their Euro Tour To Show Support To Paris

After the massive terrorist attack that happened to Paris recently that killed about 130 people, rock band Foo Fighters decided to cancel the remaining dates left on their European tour.

France is facing a difficult time right now after terrorists attacked a soccer game, open fired a café and also bombed a rock concert, which didn't just injure a lot of people, but even caused fatalities. Due to this, music artists like Foo Fighters and U2 had to stop their tour for now for their safety as well.

A rock concert was bombed while an American rock group named Eagles of Death Metal was performing. No member of the band was reported injured, but unfortunately about 100 people in the crowd died.

The Mirror published a report about Foo Fighters cancelling their show that was supposed to be on November 16 at the AccorHotel Arena, which is not too far from the place where the terrorists recently attacked. They are cancelling the show because they are also concern about the security of their fans.

The band released a statement in line with the said cancellation, "It is with profound sadness and heartfelt concern for everyone in Paris that we have been forced to announce the cancellation of the rest of our tour. In light of this senseless violence, the closing of borders, and international mourning, we can't continue right now. There is no other way to say it. This is crazy and it sucks. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone who was hurt or who lost a loved one."

Another rock band postponed their concert that was supposed to have taken place on November 14 and it U2. Fox reported this decision the group made through a message they have released on their website.

"As a result of the ongoing state of emergency across France, the U2 Paris concert scheduled for 14th November will not be going ahead as planned... Live Nation, along with HBO who were due to live broadcast the Saturday concert, are fully resolved to go ahead with this show at an appropriate time."
